Title: Inside Sales/Account Executive

Salary Range: $50K-60K (DOE) Benefit

Location: Torrance, CA

Work Hour: 9-5

Essential Job Functions

  • by achieving sales targets; by operating within budgetary guidelines; by communicating with or visiting current and potential distributors and customers to increase sales; by analyzing sales trends and operating efficiency, product presentations, and best practices in order to maximize profit; by researching and identifying potential customers; by developing proactive sales methods; by developing new business opportunities at trade shows, distributors, and industry events; and by performing any other sales functions as necessary.
  • Manages and Expands Customer Accounts – E-COMMERCE
  • by contacting customers and distributors regularly via telephone, e-mail, letters and in person to ascertain their needs and keep business and information flowing smoothly; by following up on past-due accounts to ensure that all collections are completed; by providing price quotes, proposals, and credit terms to current and prospective customers; by making presentations about products; and by identifying customer needs or problems in a timely manner, and reporting all problems to the necessary parties.

Performs Marketing Functions

  • by following up on all product sales leads and inquiries received from magazine advertising, web sites, trade shows, and distributors; and by performing any other marketing functions as necessary.
  • Represents the Company
  • by attending trade shows and other events as necessary to grow the Company’s business; and by representing the Company in any other capacity as needed.
  • Manages Time and Resources
  • by using tools provided by the Company (phone, fax, e-mail) in order to maximize productivity and to accomplish tasks on time.
  • Keeps Management Informed
  • by participating in meetings; and by reporting problems to Management verbally or in writing in order to avoid confusion and further problems.
  • Performs General Administrative Duties
  • by writing and distributing reports and other correspondence; by distributing mail and faxes when necessary; by accurately filing and maintaining documents; by making copies; and by performing other administrative duties as needed.

Essential Job Requirement

Physical Requirement

While performing the duties of this job, the Staff Member is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The Staff Member is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to pick-up, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

The Staff Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Working Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. working in a business office with computers, printers, and telephones).

The Staff Member may be required to travel for business and work beyond normal business hours when necessary. Travel is up to 20% - domestically w/in the US. Chicago etc.
